SWIM IN THE BASSIN LOUISE 750 meters
Discover our new, optimized swim course! You’ll dive into the calm waters of Port de Québec marina, under the watchful eyes of your loved ones who can easily follow this portion of your triathlon thanks to the numerous viewpoints.
You’ll swim a challenging course in a protected body of water with daily water quality testing. Also, take advantage of the facilities at the Oasis, a summer swimming site developed by Port de Québec.

RIDE ON THE DUFFERIN-MONTMORENCY HIGHWAY 20 KM
You’ll ride on the Dufferin-Montmorency Highway, an urban highway closed to car traffic specifically for SAIL Challenge Québec. An out-and-back course on a quality road surface, with breathtaking views of Québec City, the St. Lawrence River, Beauport Bay, and Île d’Orléans.
You’ll definitely love this fast, mostly flat course, sometimes accompanied by a refreshing sea breeze. You’ll also experience the contagious energy of your family, friends, and all the spectators who will warmly welcome you upon your arrival at Quai Saint-André, near the transition area!

RUN ALONG THE SAINT-CHARLES RIVER 5 KM
You’ll run on the magnificent Saint-Charles River course, a 32-kilometer linear park connecting the Old Port to Lake Saint-Charles. A multi-disciplinary course along the river, it goes through parks where you can enjoy beautiful views of Québec City. Fast and mostly shaded, this course is perfect for achieving a good race time!
This out-and-back course will allow you to enjoy the cheers of the crowd and your loved ones as you return to the finish area. Along the way, you’ll find well-stocked refreshment stations run by dedicated and enthusiastic volunteers, each with a distinct musical theme!
