CHALLENGE QUÉBEC: A UNIQUE CHALLENGE, AN UNFORGETTABLE EXPERIENCE!

For over 20 years, Challenge Family has been organizing exceptional events and triathlons around the world. In 2024, the organization chose Québec City as the host city for its first triathlon on Québec soil. In 2026, Challenge Québec will mark the highly anticipated return of long-distance triathlon with the addition of the R226 course. Participating athletes will be able to take on this unique challenge in North America, right in the heart of Québec City!

Environmental Responsibility Policy

SAIL Challenge Québec, powered by Argon 18, is committed to organize a sporting event that upholds exemplary environmental, social and economic standards. Aware of the impacts that large-scale events can generate, we place eco-responsibility at the heart of all our decisions and operational practices.

Our goal is to reduce our environmental footprint, engage our communities, and become an eco-responsibility leader in Québec’s sports community.

We are committed to:

Reduce waste at the source, improve sorting practices, and limit single-use items.

Reduce greenhouse gas emissions, particularly those related to transportation, by promoting sustainable alternatives and carbon offsetting.

Promote sustainable food choices and responsible sourcing, prioritizing local products and environmentally respectful practices.

Communicate transparently our actions, results, and objectives in order to engage all stakeholders.

Promote continuous improvement by evaluating our practices annually and adjusting our actions according to emerging needs and issues.

This policy applies to all activities related to the organization of the event and engages all stakeholders (employees, volunteers, exhibitors, partners and participants) in collectively contributing to a more sustainable and inspiring event.
